why sponsor?
There will be many dog lovers reading this who, for one reason or another, cannot
own a dog themselves. The next best thing then, is to sponsor a dog. This way, you
would have your very own ‘best friend’.

Most of the dogs handed in to Waggy Tails Rescue find new homes easily. However,
a few, because they are too old, have severe medical problems, or a difficult past,
do not. As our charity never puts a healthy dog to sleep, these ‘old timers’ are
looked after in permanent foster homes for the rest of their lives.
For as little as £5 a month (less than a daily newspaper!) you could sponsor one
of these dogs and ensure it gets a second chance of happiness. You can send your
dog special presents and treats, and know that, with your help, your dog will have
the care and attention it deserves. These special dogs cost our charity about £18,000
each year for their medication and we receive no funding from anyone except our
supporters!

When you choose your dog, you’ll get your very own best friend. You’ll also receive
a personal sponsorship certificate, with a picture of your dog and its history.
Your new pal will send you news updates twice a year, and Birthday and Valentine
cards. Plus, when you join you will receive a free gift package including pen, key
ring and car sticker.
