All about Duke
Duke was with us for some time, a lovely 3 year old Mastiff cross Boxer. He came from the pound so we knew little of his history though it is evident he had a home life sometime in his past. He is a big strong and affectionate boy, but lacked some training and socialisation. He took a while to find his forever home but found his forever home in October 2023.

We were thrilled to receive an update from his new humans once he had settled … “After a couple of day release visits Duke finally became a permanent part of our family and we’re thrilled to have him. He settled into his space quickly, he’s extremely polite apart from his desire to sit right on top of us…. Literally on someone’s lap is his favourite place. He’s such a cuddle monster, although the deer we see out walking wouldn’t agree! The advice given at the induction was invaluable and we’ve put that immediately into practice. As a result he doesn’t react to the doorbell at all and is quite happy as we move around his area which is also our kitchen and conservatory. His spot on guard duty, protecting us from squirrels in the garden!!”
