Team ÖtillÖ 2026

‘Hello everyone!

We are Lauren and John, a couple living locally in Broadstone, with our little Otillo (Golden Retriever) who turns one next month!! 

We named Oti after a Swedish swimrun (thankfully he loves swimming and running ) and with fate aligning his first birthday, with the return of the ÖtillÖ swimrun to its home in Utö, on his birthday weekend, it was too much of a coincidence not to take the plunge and sign up! For me, Lauren - I think I perhaps underestimated the enormity of this challenge as a novice swimmer and runner… but hey that’s what challenges are for! Have a read of the full story on the just giving page, and if you can spare any to support Waggy Tails we would be so very grateful! we leave with Oti in tow on the 2nd of June and the race is on Saturday the 6th of June!
