Max (success)
All about Magnus
Max was a 7 year old Border Collie who came into Waggy Tails at the end of October 2025. He had lived with his doggy friend Rocky for a number of years happily. Sadly, his family were moving and were unable to take the dogs with them. Although Max and Rocky were friends, they were not a bonded pair and we decided to rehome them separately. Max was a lovely boy, friendly with us all, enjoyed his walks and good with other dogs. We had been told he had lived with a cat but tended to be a bit clumsy with it and also that he preferred his walks in the evening and lazing about during the day.

In December, Max found a lovely home in Hampshire with Paul and Rachel and off he went. Initially, we heard he was settling in well, enjoying his walks in the New Forest, meeting family dogs and enjoying his food – a little too much perhaps as he soon stole some ham off the worktop!
We have recently heard from Paul again … Max is thriving. Paul said … “Have had Max for 7 months now and he has really settled in. He loves walking and having a good sniff at all the lovely doggie scents. Loves meeting other dogs and their owners. He nearly wags his tail off. He loves going to our caravan and picks the best seat for sleeping (see pic) I am really grateful that i was allowed to be his owner”.
I am sure Max agrees!
