Sally Long is running the Everest Marathon in May
We all wish Sally good luck as she sets off on 16th May to Nepal.
She then has a 10 day trek to the Everest base camp, where she will spend two days.
The marathon trail run from the base camp of Mount Everest to the “Sherpa capital” Namche Bazar.
The Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon has been held annually on 29 May since 2003 to commemorate the anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Everest by Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary.
