Sadie Female Lurcher
Sadie is a beautiful 4-year-old lurcher with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. She is incredibly affectionate and thrives on human company, happily soaking up all the cuddles and attention she can get. Once she bonds with you, Sadie is devoted and loving, making her a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys a close connection with their dog.
Sadie can sometimes be a little cautious when meeting men at first and may need some time and patience to feel comfortable. With gentle introductions and consistency, her confidence grows and her affectionate nature really shines through.
Sadie will need to be the only pet in the home. She is not dog-friendly and has a very high prey drive, so a calm, adult-only household with no other animals would suit her best. She mostly walks really well on the lead but Sadie can be strong when she sees other dogs and wildlife, so she will need an experienced handler who is confident, committed to ongoing training, and able to manage her strength and reactions safely. Sadie happily wears her muzzle on walks.
Sadie has made amazing progress with her toilet training and continues to improve with routine and encouragement. With the right guidance, she has great potential to keep developing her manners and skills.
Sadie is looking for a patient, understanding home where she can be loved as an only pet and given the structure she needs. In return, she will offer endless affection, loyalty, and those wonderful lurcher cuddles — the kind that make all the hard work worth it.
