Amber, Ivy, Doug & Patch Male and Female Border Collie

Rosie and the pups.

Four delightful Border Collie pups 3 months old.

They did not have a good start in life but are slowly catching up

They are typical energetic, mischievous, youngsters.

They are intelligent and will need training and lots of mental stimulation.

Amber and Ivy are currently in a foster home.

AMBER
3 month old Black and White Collie Cross.
Energetic puppy. Loving & affectionate with a kind nature.
Mostly house trained. She still has occasional ‘tiddle accidents’ indoors when she’s excited.
Just need to watch for the signs she needs to go outside.
As with all Collies, she needs things to keep her interested and occupied
She likes to climb and explore in small spaces so a very secure garden and home is required.
She can jump out of a 4 foot puppy pen.
She will follow you around the garden and obey if you ask her to follow and sit at intervals.
Has learnt basic commands Sit, Wait, Paw, “Find” if you hide her kibble.
At some point you may wonder where your slipper or gardening gloves have gone? Ask Amber !!!
Loves her walks, and is good on the lead.
Not concerned about loud noises.
She loves to meet other dogs and is friendly and has to say hello to everyone of the human kind.
Being the potential smallest of the litter she is just a bit possesive of her food when fed near other dogs.
She has a slow feeder as she tends to eat very fast. Working on slowing her down by holding back a small
portion each feed to train her with. Working well.
Whilst she is quite lively during the daytime, she loves to snuggle up on the settee next to you in the
evening. She currently sleeps in the lounge in her pen with her sister and they share a bed.
Currently sleep 10pm – 5.30am without issue and loves her morning cuddles.

She is very aware of what’s going on and while she goes to bed at 10pm, she will wake up and let you
know she is still there if you have to use the rest room yourself in the night ! After a tickle she will settle
again and sleep until 5.30am.
