Rosie Female Border Collie
Rosie is two years old and ideally needs a single woman who is home most of the day and to be an only dog. She bonded well with a foster mum, happily sits at your feet, loves cuddles and doesn’t need lots of walking and is really chilled at home. She is house trained
She gets on with other dogs when out and about and was fine with a cat that came into the garden.
Rosie is very wary of people she doesn’t know, and especially men, but that’s to be expected and she’s already a lot calmer as she gets to know the staff and gets used to being walked by new people as they know to ignore her and instead let her come to them when she feels ready.
She will walk happily on a lead and doesn’t pull.
Rosie just wants a person to fall in love with and who will be the most loyal companion.
Her fear of new people will be easier when she is adopted – and we have help available for her during the transition.
