Kimmie Female Border Collie
Kimmie is a small Border Collie who is under 2 years old.
She has come from a difficult situation and it is taking time to help her gain confidence. She is especially wary of men, and new people which is understandable.
She is currently being fostered with Bentley and they get on like a house on fire, so she could be homed with another dog of similar energy. She loves a lap to sit on and is really affectionate and beginning to enjoy life. She happily plays ball with you in the garden and loves cuddles. She is house trained and has started to travel in a car without fussing. She can be left at home and will just settle and sleep until you return!
She is sister to Rosie and probably Bentley and Brodie are her siblings.
She needs a home where her new owners are aware of the needs of an anxious dog but who will give her the time and patience to adjust to a world that seems alien to her. She has only just started walking on a long lead and going out for walks but with patience and lots of TLC she will be a fantastic companion dog who asks for little but will give lots of love in return.
Whoever adopts Kimmie will be offered ongoing BC behaviour support
